Progress is underway on the St. Paul Career and Technical Education (CTE) facility, marking an exciting step forward for the district’s expanded learning opportunities. Over the past few weeks, crews have been working to prepare the site, bringing in rock and establishing the rough grade for the building pad.
This week, excavation began for the building’s footings, a key milestone as we move into the underground utilities phase of construction. With the job trailer now on-site, work is progressing steadily, and soon we’ll be moving into the next phase—pouring the concrete building pad, followed by the erection of the steel pre-engineered metal building structure.
This facility will serve as a hub for hands-on learning in horticulture, animal science, woodworking, welding, and more, providing students with modern lab spaces and expanded career pathways. We’re excited to see the project take shape and will continue sharing updates as construction moves forward!
