Power On & Finishes Nearing Completion

As summer wraps up, so does major construction work on the new Career Technical Education center for St. Paul Schools. Permanent power was established in late August, marking a key milestone in bringing the building online. Inside, the concrete floors have been sealed with almost all finish work and specialty installations now in place, giving it a polished look. Crews also completed asphalt paving for the CTE building yard and fire lane.

Meanwhile, in the wood and metal shop areas, work is progressing on the welded duct systems that will support dust collection and the fume exhaust equipment. With so many key systems nearly complete, the CTE facility is entering its final stretch and getting closer to welcoming students into its new learning spaces in November.
