After weeks of underground utility work and preparing for concrete, including the installation of rebar, slab forms and vapor barrier, the project hit a major milestone—Pour day! And it was a big one. Approximately 35 trucks rolled through, and our team placed 200+ cubic yards of concrete using a laser screed. Spirits were high all around, but no one was more excited than the St. Paul School District Superintendent who took it all in from the sidelines. With the concrete form work coming down and curing underway, we’re charging ahead toward the next steps. Structural steel is set to arrive soon then we’ll get started on vertical construction of the building by early May.
