We’ve hit a major milestone—the second-floor Slab on Metal Deck (SOMD) has been successfully poured! If you recall from our last update, we had rebar in place and a temporary heat tent around Zone B to maintain the right temperature for concrete pouring. Thanks to careful planning and execution, that effort has paid off, and the slab is now in place!
Meanwhile, steel work continues at a rapid pace, and the structure is truly beginning to look like a building. The team has made huge progress, efficiently flying multiple pieces of steel into place at a time. Their coordinated effort and precision have helped keep things moving smoothly as the framework rises.
Now that Zone B’s second-floor slab is complete, steel framing around this area is well underway. The framing team has been moving quickly, defining spaces and bringing the layout to life. Walking through the site now, you can really start to envision the rooms and different areas—it’s remarkable how the space actually feels bigger as the framing takes shape.
The project has come a long way in a short time, and there’s still more exciting progress ahead. Stay tuned for the next update!
