The last slab-on-grade concrete slab was poured in Zone A South and is currently water curing. With this in place, we’re ready to start erecting steel soon. Our team also completed the second lift on the gymnasium concrete masonry unit (CMU) wall. This consists of infilling the CMU bricks with concrete to strengthen them, which includes the installation of temporary braces for safety and to ensure the walls stay perfectly vertical. A grease trap was installed outside the kitchen area, which will help separate and collect oil to prevent it from entering the main water lines.
