With summer in full swing, progress on the replacement school is moving quickly toward the finish line! Our team prepared for and poured the last of the main entrance footings, which are essential structural supports for the new canopy. Inside the building, inspections known as “punch walks” began across Zones A and B. These walkthroughs are part of the final phases of construction and our trade partners have been helpful in making timely updates to complete their scopes of work.
Another big milestone was finishing work in the lobby area in preparation for installation of a custom mural. This will add a bold, colorful, welcoming touch prior to when students return to campus. In the café corridor, all the drywall is up and natural light now floods in through newly installed skylights. Meanwhile, exterior grading is underway in the courtyards as our crews prepare for upcoming concrete slab pours.
